We produce the soon to be world famous Gulf Coast Half Marathon Series. For the past 6 years the GCHMS has changed expectations of runners and cities alike of how a major endurance event should be produced. We take pride in our attention to detail of course design all the way to the post race party. Thousands of runners now proudly use and display "America's Most Useful Finishers Medal" on their walls, by the pool and at the beach.
The 13.1 miles of running through beautiful beach and coastal communities will treat runners to stunning views of the water, historical neighborhoods & amazing white sand beaches that are unmatched anywhere. In true Gulf Coast style, the event will wrap with an awesome post race party that is sure to become a thing of legends.

Start off the weekend right with the 2016 Race to the Top of the Tower. 31 floors of stair racing excitement that culminates on the roof of Turquoise Place.
Friday, February 26, 2016 at 6:00pm we will see who is crowned the 2016 champions. The cost is $25 per person with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Special Olympics of Alabama. All participants will enjoy a post event celebration in the Penthouse at Turquoise Place. The Race to the Top of the Tower is the kick-off event for the Gulf Coast Half Marathon weekend.

America's Most Useful Finisher Medal
All finishers of the half, the 10 Miler or in Gulf Shores the 10K, will receive America's Most Useful Finisher medal. Bartender tested, runner approved, the Original Finisher "Speed-Opener" doesn't spend it's golden years hanging from a rack or sitting buried with a hundred other medals in a box somewhere. America's Most Useful Finishers Medal lives an exciting life post-race celebrating life's everyday victories at the beach, on the deck, by the pool and on boats across the Gulf Coast.
